Kamran Pourzanjani
Kamran is a progressive and passionate entrepreneur based out of Los Angeles, California. He is famously known for being the co-founder of PriceGrabber.com, which was started with less than $1.9 million dollars in 1999. He later sold Pricegrabber.com to Experian for $485 million in 2005. He has won entrepreneurial awards, including being named the 2005 Ernst and Young's Entrepreneur of the Year in Los Angeles, as well as a finalist in 2006. Kamran was also one of the first investors for Doctstoc, Legalzoom and ShoeDazzle. In 2010 he acquired ELC Technologies.
Jody Mulkey
Jody is the Chief Information Officer and the Senior Vice President of technology at Shopzilla.com overseeing technology development and operations of the company. Jody was part of the inaugural team at Shopzilla, then Bizrate, joining them as one of the first few employees. He strives to continually create scalable solutions for the business and ensures the integrity of all information systems and flows. Prior to Shopzilla, Jody was an integral part of the team at William O'Neil & Co that brought the flagship WONDA product to the Internet, which reduced costs for the company by $2.5 million annually.
Lawrence Ng
Lawrence is the co-founder and CEO of Oversee.net, a highly successful marketing and advertising tool used by countless companies. Prior to starting Oversee, Lawrence was working with Startpath.com, another Internet start-up that was geared towards Internet advertising and the tactics that drive traffic to targeted websites. Lawrence has worked with Merrill Lynch and Smith Barney, where he learned priceless business techniques that have helped foster his bright career. Similar to another one of our investors, he won the 2007 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the year award in the technology category.
Brian Lee
Brian started his career as a lawyer before becoming a serial entrepreneur. He is now famous for his successful co-founding of many notable start-ups, primarily LegalZoom. Brian's most recent project is The Honest Company, he helped co-found the company with Jessica Alba. Brian is a dedicated and creative investor who always has an eye for great opportunities.
Gary Blair
Gary has over 30 years of experience in the computing and software industry, and has reached unbridled success over the years. Gary formed his current company, SoftBase, in 1987. He originally served as the President and CEO of SoftBase and illustrated his strengths while the company achieved constant profitability every year since the company's created. Gary was never one to hurry and constantly paid close attention to SoftBase's growth in order to make calculated decisions on the company's future. Gary brings a wealth of experience to our team of investors.
Ed Ojdana
Ed Ojdana served as Co- President of Experian Consumer Direct. Ed, founder of ConsumerInfo (known as FreeCreditReport.com),recently retired as the Chief Executive Officer of Experian InteractiveSM,a business unit of Experian Group,LLC. Prior to this, he served as President and Vice Chairman of Experian Consumer Direct's Consumer Services Group until August 2001, and as its Chief Information Officer as well. Mr. Ojdana held senior-level positions in finance, marketing, strategic planning, operations and management consulting in a broad range of industries, including consumer goods, retail, distribution and entertainment. He currently sits on the Boards of Worldwide Compensation, Dynasty Footwear, Leads360, GoalSpring, Better Black TV and the UC Davis School of Viticulture and Enology.
JB Orechhia
JB Orechhia is currently the President and CEO of SavvyMoney. He served as the VP of Marketing at Disney Interactive Media Group for over a year and Executive Vice President of Marketing at Experian Consumer Direct for almost 10 years where he led the team responsible for online marketing and business development with partners such as Yahoo!, American Express, MSN and Quicken. JB has a combined experience of over 24 years in interactive marketing, sales, consumer finance and nurturing strategic partnerships with its clients and customers.
Eric Johnson
Eric Johnson is currently the Managing Director at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management, has over 12 years of experience in providing comprehensive wealth management services to ultra-high-net-worth private clients and their private foundations. His combined experience in providing wealth management services stands at a staggering 20 years working at big investment companies like Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette, and Merill Lynch Private Client Group.
Richard Wolpert
Richard is a Venture Advisor for Accel Partners, Managing Director of Chance Technologies, and was President of Disney Online and Chief Strategy Officer at Real Networks. Additionally, he is an angel investor in more than 25 companies, including many in LA.
