Hip-Hop and Annex Cloud

by Sean Ogino |

Everyone has their genre of music- that one genre they play that hits a sweet spot that inspires motivation, hustle, focus and determination. If you can’t hear that genre or song I’m referencing right now, think of the context in which Eye of the Tiger is played – bam. Now you know.

If the title didn’t give it away- Hip-Hop, yes, Hip-Hop inspires me. If you’re like me- you appreciate the beat, the instruments and the fusion of sound. You listen to the lyrics and love that what you’re listening holds meaning.

Nas taught me that he,

“Speak what I want, I don’t care what y’all feel
‘Cause I’m my own master, my Pop told me be your own boss
Keep integrity at every cost”

Eminem slapped me in the face with,

“Look, if you had one shot, one opportunity
To seize everything you ever wanted in one moment
Would you capture it or just let it slip?”

And Ice Cube helps me celebrate because, “Today was a good day.”

So… what does this have to do with Annex Cloud? Well- this is the company blog. The fact that this is published is a small glimpse into what the culture is like here. We work hard, we appreciate each other and we hustle hard. Explicit plug, we’re hiring! Visit https://www.annexcloud.com/working-with-us if you want in ;).
